Long time Weybridge resident Dave Taylor passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 after a battle with ALS (sometimes called Lou Gehrig’s disease). He was a friendly neighbor and served on the Weybridge board from 2004 – 2007.
His loving family and hospice was with him during his passing. He will be greatly missed. He requested there be neither a service nor a published obituary.
We thank Dave for his service to the community and wish the best for his family.
Schedule Change! BrightView has delayed the turf treatment — originally planned for Fri, Oct 22 — until next week. The new chemical and fertilizer treatment date is Wed, Oct 27.
As noted before, if you have areas of your lawn you do not want fertilized or sprayed, you can place lawn flags to mark areas that are off-limits. If you need flags, you can pick them up from a container on the front porch of 9246 Muirkirk Dr.
For areas that are sprayed and fertilized, homeowners with pets or children are advised to keep them off the lawn for at least 24 hours after the chemicals are applied.

At the Weybridge HOA annual meeting on October 12, 2021 votes were counted in the matter of whether the Association should be permitted to conduct official HOA business via electronic methods, such as email or online meetings. Votes were both mailed in and conducted in person at the meeting (without any duplication). The results:
Votes for the amendment: 34
Votes against the amendment: 0
Our Code of Regulations requires a quorum be present to conduct official business, like voting, and a quorum is defined as 10% of the members (homeowners), which is only 8 members. We had more than 25% of Weybridge homes at the meeting, so a quorum was met, making this vote binding.
While this means Weybridge is now permitted to conduct official business via email — including notifications to residents — the Board recognizes some residents do not use email or other digital media regularly, so the most important announcements and other business will continue to be provided on paper where needed.
Thank you to everyone that attended the annual meeting or voted by written ballot!
