BrightView has notified us the final fertilizer application for 2019 is expected on Friday, November 22.
This is a “dormant” fertilizer application, designed to release nitrogen slowly over the winter, which promotes a faster lawn rebound in the spring. You can read more about the benefits of dormant fertilizing here.
As in the past, we recommend you keep pets off the lawn for at least 24 hours after the fertilizer application. If there are sections of lawn you do not want fertilized, you can place lawn flags outlining the area.
