Shrub pruning to Start on June 3rd

BrightVew Landscape plans to be in the Weybridge neighborhood on or around Monday, June 3rd thru June 10th to perform a touch-up shrub pruning (date dependent on weather). This pruning is only for new growth and shaping

If you have shrubs or bushes you do NOT want BrightView to trim, please put a brightly-colored ribbon on those shrubs and bushes.

Flag etiquette on Memorial Day is unique. At sunrise, flags are to be raised to full staff briskly, then lowered to half staff position where they will remain until noon. At noon, flags are to be raised to full-staff and will be displayed there for the remainder of the holiday. Memorial Day is a great time to show your pride for your country

Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May. It was formerly known as Decoration Day and commemorates all men and women who have died in military service for the United States. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day and it is traditionally seen as the start of the summer season.

The Grounds of Remembrance in Dublin Veterans Park is a tribute to the men and women of the armed forces who have courageously served our country in times of war and peace. It is a place for reflection and as a place to recognize those who have defended our freedom,

The Grounds of Remembrance is dedicated in the honor of all that have made sacrifices to defend our freedom; from the first 16 Dublin volunteers who joined the 46th Regiment of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry in October 1861 to the men and women who are serving today and their families who give up so much to support them.

Dublin Veterans Park is located on approximately one acre of land in Historic Dublin near the Dublin Public Library, along the Indian Run. The map below shows the Park’s location in Historic Dublin

Weybridge Intersection Obstruction

   

Weybridge HOA has received several concerns about our Muirkirk and Glick Road entrances into our community. With the summer speeds and upcoming Memorial tournament, Your Weybridge HOA wants to remind Residents of the increased traffic and safety to our Community. We have contacted Muirfield Association about trimming back the shrubs and bushes at out entrances, also contacted Dublin police of this issue and they will be setting up a portable speed radar trailer to slow traffic.

             

When leaving our Weybridge community both entrances have Stop signs. If you stop behind the stop sign your vision in impaired, so please pull slowly up to the white line to increase your line of sight before pulling out onto Glick Rd.

Weybridge HOA hopes this summer will be Safe and Happy time for our whole community.

May 16th is the Weybridge HOA board “Walk-A-round” inspection of the neighborhood. On this annual inspection board members walk through the front and back yards of all the Weybridge properties to check for compliance with the Weybridge and Muirfield property maintenance guidelines, and regulations. Property owners will get a friendly reminder from the board if there are any changes or repairs needed.
