On Monday evening, November 12, our 3 newly-elected and 2 returning Weybridge HOA Trustees met for the first time since the election last month. They agreed on formal Officer roles, so the Board now looks like this:
President: Norm Parrish
Vice President: Pam Webb
Treasurer: Ed Kuplis
Secretary: Stacy Holliday
Trustee At Large: Beth Alderson
Additional named roles include…
Landscape Chairman: Brent Kleihauer
Webmaster: John Proffitt
Contact information and details on the additional community volunteers can be found on the Weybridge website here.
During October we asked Weybridge residents to cast votes for the 3 open Board seats. 48 ballots were returned. Since we had 3 open seats and 3 announced candidates, the results were fairly predictable. The complete voting results were:
Beth Alderson, 37
Norm Parrish, 41
Pamela Webb, 38
Write-In: Sharon Foster, 2
This means Beth Alderson, Norm Parrish, and Pamela Webb will fill the 3 open Board seats, joining the 2 continuing members: Stacy Holliday and Ed Kuplis.
All 5 Board members will attend a formal meeting on Monday, November 12. In accordance with our Code of Regulations (section VI, item 2), the assembled members will choose Officer roles including President, Vice President, Treasurer, and so forth.
We will update the Weybridge website with the new Officer list following the meeting.
We’ve received notice from BrightView of the final fertilizer application for the year. They’re planning to apply fertilizer on Friday, November 16.
As in the past, we recommend you keep pets off the lawn for at least 24 hours after the fertilizer application. If there are sections of lawn you do not want fertilized, you can place lawn flags outlining the area.
BrightView exoects to wrap up mowing and leaf cleanup in the days ahead, finishing before the Thanksgiving holiday.
Weybridge resident Lois George, formerly of 9306 Muirkirk, passed away this week, on November 8. She was laid to rest earlier today (Saturday, November 10) at Forest Lawn Cemetery on East Broad Street in Columbus.
She is survived by her sister Doris Huffman, sister in law Beth Brown and brother in law Don Montgomery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Columbus, or a charity of your choice.
